Craig Mcgettrick had a surprising encounter while cleaning up a garden in England one day. He and a friend stumbled upon an old mattress that needed removal, but what they discovered beneath it was unexpected – five small creatures, which they initially assumed were puppies or perhaps kittens.Without hesitation, Craig decided to take these animals under his wing.

contacting a local animal shelter and sharing photos on social media in hopes of finding them a new home, he received an unexpected call that would change everything.

Martin Hemmington, founder of the National Fox Welfare Society, reached out after recognizing the creatures in the photos as fox cubs, not puppies as Craig had assumed. With this revelation, plans quickly shifted.

Following guidance from experts like Hemmington and local rescuer Paul McDonald, the fox cubs were returned to their natural habitat, where they were soon reunited with their mother. Thanks to the collective efforts of Craig, Hemmington, McDonald, and the online community, these fox cubs were safely returned to their rightful place in the wild, bringing a heartwarming conclusion to their unexpected journey.
