Ingredients:
For the Garlic Bread:
1 loaf of French bread, cut lengthwise
4 tablespoons of softened butter
3 cloves of garlic, finely minced
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
For the Shrimp Filling:
1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon of paprika
For the Sandwich:
1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Extra butter for grilling
Instructions:
Prepare the Garlic Bread:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Combine the butter, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley in a bowl.
Spread the mixture evenly on each bread half.
Bake on a baking sheet for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
Cook the Shrimp:
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and fully cooked. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Layer the shredded cheese and cooked shrimp on one half of the garlic bread.
Top with the other half and press gently.
Grill the sandwich in a buttered pan until the cheese melts and the bread is perfectly crispy.
