Ingredients:
1 lb Italian sausage
1 (28-oz) jar spaghetti sauce
1 cup cottage cheese
1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
¼ cup sour cream
2 Tbsp parsley, chopped
½ tsp garlic powder
⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 (25-oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Prepare the Meat Sauce: In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbly. Drain any excess grease. Mix in the spaghetti sauce and remove from heat.
Combine Cheeses and Ravioli: In a large mixing bowl, blend cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and garlic powder until smooth. Fold in the frozen ravioli until they are thoroughly coated with the cheese mixture.
Assemble the Casserole: Pour the ravioli and cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish. Evenly spread the meat sauce over the top, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella.
Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake, uncovered, for about 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top. Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before serving to let the layers set.
